Get involved
I am fighting this seat to win, but to win the most votes I need your help. This could be anything from:
-
Helping fold leaflets
-
Delivering leaflets
-
Helping speak to voters on the doorsteps
-
Offering a car service to take voters to the polling stations on polling day
-
Baking a cake for a campaign fundraiser
-
Making a donation to the campaign
-
Helping with a street stall
-
Saving press cuttings
-
Or sitting on a polling station on polling day
Every offer of help is appreciated. Whether you are able to campaign 24/7 or spare ten minutes every now and then your involvement makes a real difference.
I have always been taught that a successful campaign is a happy one and a team that plays together wins together. Cliches aside, I believe if volunteers enjoy themselves they'll volunteer again. Everyone is welcome.
We are holding some big campaign days coming up called Super Saturday. This is where friends, family, members and supporters are coming together to help campaign. Details of the next Super Saturday are below. Remember, every little bit helps, and so if you can only spare a small amount of time please do still volunteer!

Help by donating - every penny helps
The Tories are throwing money at this seat. Labour doesn't need to outspend the Tories to win in South West Devon but we do need to spend our money wisely. If you would like to make a donation to the campaign please make cheques payable to 'South West Devon Labour Party' and send to:

Facebook is not just a new way of contacting old friends it is also a superb organisational tool. I am using it to keep supporters in touch with how my campaign is going and to post information on my dedicated Facebook group to ask for help or break campaign news. There are over a hundred people on the group at the moment, so why not join it too? Post on the group wall, sign up to campaign events or even meet new people and friends along the way.
